- Settings (like block lists, schedules, or streaks) are typically stored locally using browser storage.
- Unless a feature clearly says otherwise, extension data remains on your device.
5.2 Permissions
Extensions may request permissions (like access to certain pages or storage) to function. We request only what is necessary for the specific feature.
5.3 No remote code execution
Our extensions are designed to run packaged code. We do not load remote code to change how the extension behaves after installation.
7. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If you believe a vulnerability exists in a KANA Product, please email support@kanasecure.co.za.
8. Data retention
- Support emails and messages may be kept as long as needed to help you and for record-keeping.
- Website logs (where used) are typically retained for a limited time for security and debugging.
- Extension settings stored locally remain on your device unless you remove the extension or clear browser data.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing of your personal information.
